More about Villeret Mouvement Invers 18K White Gold

This is an 18K white gold Blancpain Villeret Mouvement Invers 6616-1527-55B. It has an alligator leather strap with a white gold deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid snap-down brushed case back engraved with "BLANCPAIN," and an edition number. The 43mm solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and stepped bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is the inverted movement, with the bridges spanning the going train, and inlaid with white ceramic and silvered borders. The bridge that's adjacent to the winding crown has Roman numerals from 3 to 6 o'clock. It has skeletonized blued epee hands, and hour/minute functions. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Villeret Mouvement Invers 6616-1527-55B has a mechanical manual winding Blancpain Caliber 152B movement. It's rhodium plated, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, 170 components, and a shock absorber device. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic Glucydor free sprung balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The Blancpain Villeret Mouvement Invers 6616-1527-55B was introduced in 2012 and produced until 2014.
