This is a vintage c. 1960's 18k yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin 4781. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and a domed acrylic crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and a solid snap-on polished case back, inside of which is engine-turned and engraved with "VACHERON CONSTANTIN – SWITZERLAND – 4781," hallmarks and a serial number. The 34mm diameter solid two-body case, teardrop-profile curved lugs, and angled flat bezel are polished. The domed dial has a textured silver center with an outer guilloche wave pattern reserve, is silver with gold baton hands, applied faceted "coffin-shaped" baton hour markers, a center sweep second hand, and an inner minute/second scale. The 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Vacheron & Constantin 4781 has a mechanical manual winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber 1002 movement. It's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, and it's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
