This is an 18k yellow gold IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 3751. It has an alligator strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back engraved with "International Watch Co. – Da Vinci, and the serial number. It has a screw-down winding crown and "mushroom" chronograph push buttons. The 39mm diameter solid two-body case, hooded mobile lugs, and stepped bezel are polished. The dial is silver with applied gold baton hour markers and luminous dots. It has luminous gold baton hands, and a polished chronograph hand with a circular balance that indicates the minute/one-fifth second scale around the perimeter. There are four subsidiary dials, including a moon phase indicator at the 12 o'clock position, and a 12-hour totalizer surrounded by a radial month scale at 6 o'clock. There is a small constant seconds dial inside a ring with the days of the week at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute indicator inside a date ring at 3 o'clock. A four-digit date aperture window is between 7 and 8 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind. The 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 3751 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 79261 movement that's copper-colored, with fausses cotes embellishment. Kurt Klaus designed the movement, with its perpetual calendar module. It's constructed with 39 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 3751, was introduced in 1985, and was produced until 2003.
