More about Patek Philippe 5124G-001 Gondolo 18K White Gold Manual Wind

This is an 18K white gold Patek Philippe Gondolo, 5124G-011. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18k white gold buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 33mm by 43mm tonneau-shaped solid two-body rectangular case and stepped art deco-style case and bezel are polished. There is a transparent sapphire display case back secured by 4 screws. The dial is gold with applied black Arabic numeral hour index markers, black feuille hands and an outer railway-style chapter ring with minute divisions. There is a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 44-hour power reserve at full winding. The 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The manual winding mechanical Patek Philippe caliber 25-21 movement is rhodium plated with fausses cotes decoration, and it's stamped with the Patek Philippe seal. It's constructed with 18 jewels, 7 bridges, 142 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a straight-line lever escapement, and a Gyromax monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. There is a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
