This is a vintage 1968 stainless steel Tudor Submariner "Snowflake - Blue Bezel" 7021/0. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a domed acrylic crystal with a magnifying bubble at 3 o'clock for the quickset date aperture window. It has a solid screw-down case back with "ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA," and a Rolex Twinlock winding crown that's protected by the crown guard (the crown has a Rolex crown emblem). The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and bi-directional rotating blue bezel with white 60-minute Arab numeral decompression times. The original "Snowflake" blue dial has luminous round, triangular and baton indexes, an outer minute/seconds track, and luminous steel baton hands, with a diamond indicator on the hour hand. There is a center sweep second hand with a smaller luminous diamond and needle tip. It's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Tudor Submariner "Snowflake - Blue Bezel" 7021/0 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Tudor caliber 2484 movement that's rhodium plated. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The Tudor Submariner "Snowflake - Blue Bezel" 7021/0 debuted in 1966 and ended production c. 1975.
