This is a vintage c. 1944 18k rose gold Omega Chronograph "Cornes de Vache" 33.3. It has a shell cordovan strap with an 18k pink gold Omega tang buckle, and a high domed acrylic crystal. There is a screw down winding crown, rectangular chronograph push buttons, and there is a snap down solid case back, inside of which are stamped "OMEGA WATCH CO – 33," a serial number, and hallmarks. The 37mm diameter solid three-body case, "Cornes de Vache (Horns of the cow) fluted tear drop lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The original dial is silver with embossed gold Arabic numeral hour markers around an outer 30-minute/seconds scale with black Arabic numeral markers every five minutes. It has gold feuille hands, a blued center sweep chronograph seconds hand, and a blue printed telemeter track is around the perimeter. There are twin recessed silver subsidiary dials, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer is at 3 o'clock. The 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Chronograph "Cornes de Vache" 33.3 has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 33.3 movement. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and an index regulator.
