More about Cartier 2522 Tank Basculante Large Quartz

This is a stainless steel Cartier Tank Basculante Large 2522. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel double folding deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a reverse-flip brushed solid case back for personalization, and there is a winding crown above 12 o'clock set into the case. There is a blue sapphire cabochon above the winding crown set into the bezel. The inside of the case has embossed Cartier logo patterning, and the brushed solid case back has four screws in the case band sides, and it's engraved with "CARTIER – STAINLESS STEEL – 2522," and a serial number. The 26.5mm by 39.5mm rectangular art deco-style 4-body case, hooded lugs, and stepped art deco style tonneau bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with black Roman numeral hour makers, the secret Cartier signature at VII, and there is an inner railroad-style minute track. It has blued epee hands, there is a triple-date aperture window arch at 6 o'clock, and an ovoid running small seconds subsidiary dial is at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant, and the 6.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Cartier Tank Basculante Large 2522 has a Cartier caliber 012 with quartz standardization. It was introduced in 2010.
