More about Moritz Grossmann MG-000697 TEFNUT 36MM White Gold

This is an 18k white gold Moritz Grossmann TEFNUT 36 MG-000697. It has an alligator leather strap with a Grossman 18k white gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, and engraved with "MORITZ GROSSMAN – AU 750 - GLASHUTTE/SA," 4 hallmarks, and an edition number. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is solid silver with black Arabic numeral hour markers around an angled perimeter dot minute track, and hand crafted steel leaf hands annealed to a brown-violet tone. There is an off set recessed silver running small seconds dial at 7 o'clock. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 8.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Moritz Grossmann TEFNUT 36 MG-000697 has a mechanical manual winding Grossman caliber 102.0 movement. It's made from straight cut untreated German silver 3/5 plate, with hand engraving and inscriptions on the plate, fourth-wheel cock, and balance cock. It's constructed with 26 jewels, 196 components, raised gold chatons with pan-head screws, an escapement with an 18-tooth escape wheel, a Nivarox flat balance spring, a remodified Glashutte stopwork with a backlash, and a mainspring barrel with bilateral jewel bearings. It has frame pillars, and a separately removable clutch winding mechanism. There is an impulse pin integrated into the rim, a balance staff with an integrated safety roller, and an index adjuster with a Grossman micrometer screw. There are copper-nickel-zinc ARCAP train wheels that maintain their brilliance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (2.5 Hz).
