This is a stainless steel Panerai Luminor Marina Power Reserve, reference PAM00241. It has a composite rubber strap with a Panerai stainless steel deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant anti-glare sapphire crystal. It has a solid screw-down Officine Panerai case back, and the patented protected winding crown with security lever for winding the watch underwater. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is black with a fine clous-de-Paris waffle texture, luminescent baton hands, and luminous baton hour indices, and Arabic numerals at the half-hours. There is a luminous constant seconds subsidiary dial at the 9 o'clock position, and 42-hour power reserve indicator at 5 o'clock. The date is at 3 0'clock underneath a cyclops magnification bubble. It's certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC). It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic Panerai caliber OP IX movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and distinctive Panerai embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. There is a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) The Panerai Luminor Marina Power Reserve, reference PAM00241, was produced in a limited edition of 800 examples.
