More about Master Geographic 18K Rose Gold Half Hunter Case White Dial

This is an 18k rose gold Jaeger LeCoultre Master Geographic Q1422292. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold double deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a hinged, solid half-hunter case back engraved with "Master Control - Jaeger LeCoultre – 5 ATM," and various hallmarks and serial numbers, including the 1000 hour Master Control emblem in the center medallion. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled flat bezel are polished. The crown at 10 o'clock rotates the 24-city World Time disc for the second time zone aperture arc between 4:30 and 7:30 o'clock, indicated with a gold triangular marker. There is a corrector on the case band at 2 o'clock for the date. The silver dial has gold dart hour markers and luminous dots with an Arabic numeral 12 around a minute/second track. It has gold luminous dauphine hands, and a center sweep seconds hand. There is a 40-hour power reserve arc between 8 and 11 o'clock, and a second time zone subsidiary dial is at 6 o'clock, with a day/night indicator at its 9 o'clock. There is a radial date sub dial between 2 and 3 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger LeCoultre Master Geographic Q1422292 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 939 movement that's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 34 jewels, 310 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a shock absorber device, a monometallic balance with timing screws, and a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring. There is a 22k gold rotor segment, a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Jaeger LeCoultre Master Geographic Q1422292 was first introduced in 1990. It has passed the six-week, 1000-hour series of Master Control tests.
