This is an 18k rose gold Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date 39-47-01-01-04. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant domed sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 5 screws and engraved with "SENATOR – SIXTIES – AUTOMATIC," and around the perimeter with "GLASHUTTE ORIGINAL – 3 ATM – ST. STEEL," and a serial number. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and angled bezel are polished. There is a domed silver dial with painted stylized Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and applied rose gold baton markers, luminescent dots, and a perimeter minute/second track. The rose gold hands with luminous inserts are arched for the domed dial, and there is a rose gold center sweep seconds hand. The panorama big date aperture window is at the 6 o'clock position, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 12.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date 39-47-01-01-04 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Glashutte caliber 39-47 movement that's rhodium-plated with a Cotes de Geneve and fausses cotes embellishment, and a few hand engraved designs with beveled component edges. It's constructed with 25 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. There is a swan-neck micrometer regulator, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and a rotor with a 21K gold segment. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date 39-47-01-01-04 was introduced at the BaselWorld exhibition in 2010.
