It has a screw down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 5 screws and engraved with "SENATOR – SIXTIES – AUTOMATIC," and around the perimeter with "GLASHUTTE ORIGINAL – 3 ATM – ST. STEEL," and a serial number. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and angled bezel are polished. There is a domed silver dial with painted stylized Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and applied rose gold baton markers, luminescent dots, and a perimeter minute/second track. The rose gold hands with luminous inserts are arched for the domed dial, and there is a rose gold center sweep seconds hand. The panorama big date aperture window is at the 6 o'clock position, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 12.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
