More about Datejust Silver Dial SS / 18K

This is a 2003 stainless steel and 18k yellow gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 16013. It has a stainless steel and gold center link jubilee bracelet with a double folding deployment clasp, and an acrylic crystal. There is a screw-down solid case back, and a screw-down Triplock winding crown. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, integral downturned lugs, bracelet, and fluted 18k yellow gold bezel are polished/brushed. The original dial is silver with applied faceted luminous baton hour markers with luminous end pips around a black perimeter minute/second track. It includes yellow gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and a gold center sweep second hand. It has a quick-set date aperture window underneath a Cyclops magnification bubble in the crystal at the 3 o'clock position. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 16013 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3035 movement that's rhodium plated. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust was introduced in 1977 and it was produced until 1989.
