This is a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moon Watch" 3572.50.00. It has an integral stainless steel Omega link bracelet with a double deployant push-release clasp, and a Hesalite crystal (a type of extremely shock resistant plastic similar to Plexiglass). There is a sapphire display back engraved with "FIRST AND ONLY WATCH WORN ON THE MOON" "SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL" the watch has round chronograph pushbuttons, and a screw-down winding crown protected by crown guards. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, lyre lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminous baton hour markers around a minute/one-fifth seconds perimeter scale, luminous baton hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand with a luminous arrow tip. There are three black subsidiary dials including a constant small seconds register at the 9 o'clock position, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial is at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and it has a power reserve of 48-hours at full wind. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 1863 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moon Watch" 3572.50.00 was introduced in 1965, and it became the official watch of the US space program. Edward White wore it on the first spacewalk, and Buzz Aldrin wore it on the moon in 1969.
