This is a stainless steel vintage 1979 Tudor Prince Oysterdate 90500. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a domed acrylic crystal. It has a screw down Twinlock winding crown, and a solid screw down case engraved inside with "'MONTRES TUDOR S.A.-GENEVA SWITZERLAND-PATENTED-STAINLESS STEEL-C.R.S," and on the exterior is "ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA," with the Rolex crown emblem. The 35mm diameter barrel-shaped oyster solid case, straight lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. It has a silver dial with applied faceted steel baton hour, round luminous dot indices, and an applied Tudor crown at 12 o'clock. It includes steel baton hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep seconds hand, and a black perimeter minute/one-fifth second scale. There is a quickset date aperture window at the 3 0'clock position with a Cyclops magnification lens. It has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Tudor Prince Oysterdate 90500 has a mechanical automatic self-winding ETA Caliber 2784 movement. It's rhodium plated, and constructed with 25 Jewels, an Incabloc anti-shock device, an index regulator, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Tudor Prince Oysterdate 90500 was introduced in 1970 and it was produced until 1979.
