This is a vintage late 1980's stainless steel Omega Speedmaster, 145.0022ST. It has an integral stainless steel Omega Bracelet (1171/1), and an acrylic crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back engraved with "Flight Qualified By Nasa For All Manned Space Missions" The First Watch Worn On The Moon" It has round chronograph pushbuttons and a screw-down winding crown protected by a crown guard. There is a black tachymeter to 500 UPH on the bezel. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The original dial is black with original hands and creamy hour marker indices. There is an outer 1/5 seconds track, and a white central chronograph hand. There is a constant seconds subsidiary dial at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour sub dial at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, movement, and dial are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 861 movement is copper-colored, with a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
