This is an 18k yellow gold Rolex Oyster Date 1514. It has an 18k yellow gold Rolex Florentine mesh band with a hidden folding deployment buckle with a rolex crown clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has the patented Twinlock double waterproof screw down winding crown, and a screw down solid case back. The 34.5mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, bracelet, and angled engine-turned Décor Moire bezel (reflecting the mesh band), are polished/brushed. The dial is champagne with 18k gold applied faceted baton hour indices with luminous dots on the black minute/seconds perimeter scale. It has baton hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep second hand, and there is a non-quick set date aperture with a Cyclops magnification lens. This Rolex Oyster Date 1514 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 1575 movement. It's rhodium-plated with oeil de perdrix and fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a Kif shock absorber mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, and a free-sprung monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. It includes a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and Microstella regulating screws. It includes a hacking device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 19,800 vph (2.75 Hz). The Rolex Oyster Date 1514 was introduced in 1960, and was produced until 1983.
