More about PATRIZZI Daytona SS Black Dial Zenith FULL SET
This is a stainless steel Rolex Patrizzi Daytona Cosmograph 16520. It has an integral stainless steel 78990 bracelet with 503b end links, a double deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a Triplock winding crown protected by shoulder crown guards, and there are screw-down round chronograph pushbuttons. The 40mm diameter solid three body case, gently curved lugs, link bracelet, and wide fixed bezel with a tachymeter scale to 400 UPH are polished/brushed. The Patrizzi dial is black with applied luminous "boat" baton polished hour index markers, luminous polished steel baton hands with luminous inserts, and a center sweep chronograph hand with an arrow pointer. Around the perimeter is a white luminous minute/one-fifth second track. There are three recessed brown-patinated Patrizzi gold-rimmed subsidiary dials, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. This Rolex Daytona Cosmograph16520 has an automatic self-winding Zenith El Primero caliber 4030 (Zenith base 400) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a blue Parachrom hairspring, an Incabloc shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, and Microstella regulating screws. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 36,000 vph (5Hz). The Rolex Daytona Cosmograph Patrizzi 16520 was first debuted in 1988. The Italian auctioneer Osvaldo Patrizzi discovered the anomaly of the brown patenated subdials in 2005.
