FECIT - OCTA SPORT – AUTOMATIQUE – ALUMINUM," and a serial number. There are rubber clad inserts on both sides of the case, and the 42mm solid three-body case, integral straight screwed lugs, and rounded bezel are polished/brushed. It has an anthracite grey dial with luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous pips around a perimeter railroad-style minute scale. It includes luminous steel Journe hands, an arched power reserve indicator with a red warning segment and a luminous hand between 10 and 11 o'clock, and there is a purple instant jump date aperture window at 1 o'clock. A kidney bean-shaped night/day aperture indicator is at 9 o'clock, and there is an aluminum gasket-shaped subsidiary running small seconds dial at 6 o'clock that's secured to the dial with 3 screws, with purple Arabic numerals and a red indicator hand. It has a 120-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 11.6mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This FP Journe Octa Sport Aluminum 037-ARS has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber FPJ 1300-3 aluminum precision chronometer movement. It's rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve embellishment, circular graining on the base plate, polished screw heads with chamfered slots and it's constructed with 40 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, an anti-shock device, and a monometallic 4-arm balance with 4 inertia weights that are adjusted to 5 positions. It includes a Nivatronic laser soldered free sprung flat balance spring, and a unidirectional titanium and tungsten rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The FP Journe Octa Sport Aluminum 037-ARS was introduced in 2012 and produced until 2014.
