There is a knurled screw-down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, and engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – 50M – GMT 8 DAYS – OP 6890," and 4 hallmarks. The 45mm diameter cushion-shaped solid three body case, 4-screw removable wire loop strap attachments, and concave bezel are polished. The "sandwich" dial is brown; the Arabic numeral hour markers at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, and the baton indices are cut out of the plate exposing the luminous material beneath. It has gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and there is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. At 9 o'clock is a subsidiary combination 24-hour dial and a running small seconds indicator with luminous hands. A linear 8-day power reserve indicator is above 6 o'clock.
