More about Marine Big Date Black Dial SS / Rubber

This is a stainless steel Breguet Marine Big Date, 5817ST/92/5V8. The solid two-body case, lapidated lugs, screwed bars, and stepped rounded bezel are polished. There is a sapphire crystal on the engine turned display case back with 6 screws, a reeded band, and a protected screw-down winding-crown. The rubber strap has a Stainless Steel Breguet deployant buckle. The dial is two-tone silver and guilloché black rhodium with applied black steel radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve, with luminous steel Breguet hands. The outer minute/seconds track has luminous dots, and there is a sweep seconds hand and a large double date aperture at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meters, and it has a 65-hour power reserve. The automatic Breguet calibre 51766 is rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 35 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. Included is a micrometer regulator, and a gold rotor decorated with an engine-turned sunray pattern. The case, dial, and movement are all signed. Introduced in 2010.
