This is an 18K yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin Automatic, 6592. It has a leather strap with a matching Vacheron 18K yellow gold buckle. The solid 35mm diameter two-body case, lapidated bezel, downturned lugs, and screwed-down case back are polished. It has a silver dial with applied yellow gold baton and stick hour index markers. There is a centered sweep seconds hand, yellow gold baton hands, and outer minute/seconds dots. Originally manufactured in 1963, this watch was restored at Vacheron Constantin, and was sold in 2013 from their Boutique. It's water resistant, and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber K 1071 movement is stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark. It's rhodium-plated with fausses-côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 29 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a beryllium balance with timing screws that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, and a Breguet balance-spring. There is a “swan-neck” micrometer regulator, and an 18K gold-edged rotor with ruby roller bearings.
