This is a Titanium ("Titanio") Panerai Luminor Base 8 Days PAM562. It has a leather strap with a titanium tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – TITANIUM – 300M," and serial, case, and edition numbers. It has the fully protected lever-activated patented crown for winding even under water. The 44mm solid cushion-shaped three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are brushed titanium. The tobacco-colored sandwich dial has luminous Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, with luminous baton indices, and luminous baton hands. It has a 192-hour (8 day) power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Luminor Base 8 Days PAM562 has a mechanical manual winding Panerai caliber P5000 movement. It's constructed with 21 jewels, 127 components, and a Glucydur® variable inertia balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes twin barrels mounted in series, a KIF Parechoc® anti-shock device; the bridge supporting the balance is fixed by two screws with bidirectional threaded rings that adjust the end shake of the balance staff pivots, aiding the escapement in running perfectly despite any shocks. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Panerai Luminor Base 8 Days PAM562 watch was first produced in 2014 in a limited edition of 1000 examples.
