This is an 18K white gold A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 101.030. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold buckle, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has a signed screw down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back that's secured with six screws, and engraved with "A.LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE SA.," hallmarks and serial numbers. The solid, three-body 38.5mm diameter case, curved lugs, and convex bezel are polished. The dial is rare slate grey with an off-centered time dial at 9 o'clock that has applied white gold Roman numerals at the quarter hours, a luminous white minute perimeter scale, white gold alpha hands, and diamond-shaped hour index markers. There is a subsidiary dial at 5 o'clock with luminous white markers and a white gold indicator hand. There is a patented big date double aperture window at 2 o'clock, and an up/down 3-day power reserve indicator is on the perimeter from 2 to 4 o'clock. It has a rectangular quick date reset button on the left-side case band at 10 o’clock. It's water resistant to 30meters (100 feet), it has a power reserve of 72-hours at full winding, and the 9.9mm thick case, dial and movement are all signed.

The mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne Lange caliber L901.0 movement is Glashütte 3/4 plate, with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 53 jewels, and 9 screwed-in mounted gold châtons. It has twin spring barrels, an anti-shock device, heat-blued screws, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It includes the patented fan-shaped balance cock with hand engraving (unique for each watch), and a horseshoe-shaped precision whiplash index adjuster. There is a self-compensating flat balance spring, a hand-engraved balance bridge, and a swan-neck micrometer regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
