This is a stainless steel Omega Seamaster PloProf 1200M 224.30.55.21.01.001. It has a Milanese style stainless steel "Shark Proof" bracelet with a folding deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has a fully protected screw down winding crown on the left-side case band, and the crown protector can be locked/unlocked by screwing/unscrewing the crown. There is a screw down solid case back engraved with "SEAMASTER," and the Omega Seahorse in the center in high relief, and around the perimeter is "OMEGA – CALIBRE 8500 – COA-AXIAL ESCAPEMENT – 1200M/40000 FT – PLOPROF," hallmarks, and a serial number. The 50mm by 48mm unique Ploprof two-body case, hooded lugs, bracelet, and flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The rotating bidirectional white bezel has black Arabic dive graduations to 60 minutes, with numerals every 10 minutes and a luminous dive triangle at the 60; it also has a bezel lock and pressing the orange button at 2 o'clock operates the bezel. There is a helium escape valve on the case edge at 4 o'clock. The dial is white with applied baton indices with luminous SuperLuminova inserts, around a perimeter black stick minute/second scale. It includes a red arrow minute hand, and a black baton hour hand, both with luminous inserts. There is a center sweep second hand with a rectangular luminous indicator, and there is a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, it's water resistant to 1200 meters/4000 feet, it has a 60-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 16.6mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's constructed with 39 jewels, two barrels mounted in series, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line Co-Axial lever escapement. It has bidirectional automatic winding, and it includes a self-compensating free sprung flat silicon balance spring. The bridges and the oscillating weight are embellished with Geneva waves in arabesque. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz).
