It has round chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown, and a solid screw down case back engraved with "SPITFIRE - CHRONOGRAPH PERPETUAL CALENDAR - IWC", and hallmarks. The 46mm diameter solid two-body case, stepped/angled bezel, and downturned lugs are polished; The dial is gray with applied luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, and baton hour indexes around a minute/seconds track. There are 2 gray subsidiary dials, including a running seconds and leap year indicator sub dial at 6 o'clock, a 60 minute and 12-hour totalizer at 12 o'clock.
