This is a vintage 1969 18k white gold Patek Philippe Calatrava Automatic 3558. It has a leather strap with an 18k white gold PP tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. It includes a pull out winding crown with the Calatrava emblem, and a screw down solid case back with concentric engine turning in the center medallion. The 35mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and stepped bezel, are polished. It has the original silver dial with applied faceted white gold baton hour indices around a perimeter black dot minute scale, and pointed white gold stick baton hands. There is a running small seconds subsidiary dial with black markers and a gold indicator hand at 6 o'clock, and a white gold-rimmed date aperture window is at the 3 o'clock position. It has a power reserve of 38-hours at full winding, and the 10.3mm thick case, dial, and movement, are all signed.

This Patek Philippe Calatrava Automatic 3561 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 27-460M movement. It's stamped with the Geneva Quality hallmark, and it's rhodium plated, with cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Gyromax balance that's adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions, a self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, and an 18K gold rotor with the Calatrava symbol. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 19,800 vph (2.75 Hz).
