This is an 18K rose gold IWC Portuguese 7 Day Automatic IW500101. It has an alligator leather strap with an IWC stainless steel deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back, and engraved on the rotor segment is "IWC – SCHAFFHAUSEN - 7 DAYS POWER RESERVE," and it has an 18k gold IWC medallion with "PROBUS SCAFUSIA (Fine Shaffhausen)." The 42.3mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and thin stepped, concave bezel are polished. The dial is silver with applied rose Arabic numeral hour markers, small square gold hour indices around a black railroad-style minute track. It includes gold leaf-shaped hands, and there is a white-rimmed trapezoidal date aperture window at 6 o'clock. There are twin silver subsidiary dials with black markers, Arabic numerals, and gold needle indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 7-day/168-hour power reserve dial at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and cotes de Geneve embellishment. It has a Pellaton winding system with automatic wheel, pawls, and rotor bearings made of ceramic for enhanced lifespans. It’s constructed with 44 jewels, twin barrels mounted in series, an anti-shock device, and a Glucydur® beryllium alloy indexless balance with high-precision adjustment screws on the balance rim. It has a self-compensating Breguet flat-balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The IWC Portuguese 7 Day Automatic IW500101 was introduced in 2004 and it was produced until 2010.
