There is a sapphire crystal display case back, and the round stepped bezel has a reeded coin-edge band with correctors. The dial is guilloche silver with painted black radial Roman numerals, black steel Breguet hands, and outer track minute markers on a plain reserve strip. There is a subsidiary dial for the days of the month at 6 o'clock, and a sub dial sector for the 45-hour power-reserve indication at 10 o'clock. The sector aperture for the moon phases and age of the moon is between 1 and 2 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breguet Classique Power Reserve Moon Phase 3137BA/11/986 has a mechanical automatic Breguet calibre 502 movement made of hand-engraved gilt brass. It's constructed with 37 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism.
