This is a vintage 1967 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava 3445 BEYER. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. It includes a screw down signed winding crown with a crown guard, and there is a screw down solid case back. The 35mm diameter round solid two-body case, angled lugs, and stepped concave bezel, are polished/brushed. It has an extremely sharp case with a hand inscribed "Beyer" serial number on the upper left lug. The dial is silver sunburst with angled applied gold thin baton hour indices around a perimeter dot minute scale. It includes pointed thin baton hour and minute hands, a gold framed date aperture window at 3 o'clock, and there is a silver subsidiary dial with black markers and a gold indicator hand for the constant small running seconds at the 6 o'clock position. It has a 38-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 10.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3445 BEYER has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 27-460 M movement. It's stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, and it's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, an anti-shock device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, and an 18K gold rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3445 BEYER was introduced in the 1960's, and it was retailed by Beyer. It's dated 1967 and it was produced until 1981.
