More about Opus Skeleton Chronograph SS

This is a Stainless Steel Chronoswiss Opus Chronograph, CH-7523. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There are round chronograph pushbuttons, and a screwed down transparent sapphire exhibition case back. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, reeded bezel and back edge, straight lugs, and steel screwed bars are polished/brushed. The dial is fully skeletonized with transparent ring subsidiary dials, including the days of the month at 3 o'clock, constant seconds at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour register at 6, and a 30-minute sub dial at the 12 o'clock position. There are blued steel Breguet hands and a central chronograph hand, and it includes an outer 1/5 seconds railway scale. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 46-hour power reserve. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Chronoswiss caliber 741 S movement is skeletonized, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 23 jewels, and an Incabloc shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a Glucydur three-sided monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a Nivarox self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
