The 42mm diameter oyster-style two-body case, curved lugs, and flat bezel, are polished. The rubber-molded fluted unidirectional rotating bezel has large Arabic numerals, with a countdown of the last 15 dive-time minutes and a triangle with a luminescent marker at 12 o’clock. It includes a blue dial with applied white luminous large Arabic numeral hour markers and smaller military numerals inside. There is a white luminous minute/second scale and around the perimeter is a white Arabic numeral 60-second scale. It includes pointed steel baton hands with luminous inserts, and there is a steel second hand with a luminous red arrow indicator tip. There is a quick-set date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and it includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer rating. It has a 38-hour power reserve at full winding. It's water resistant to 500 meters/1,650 feet, and the 13.30 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breitling Super Ocean II A17365D1 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breitling caliber 17 (Base ETA caliber 2824-2) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
