More about 1815 Tourbillon 730.079 Enamel Dial Platinum LIMITED

This is a platinum A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Tourbillon Enamel Dial 730.079F. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, engraved with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE SA," hallmarks, and a serial number. The 39.5mm solid three-body case, curved lugs, and convex bezel, are all polished. The dial is white enamel with black Arabic numeral hour markers, a red 12 index, and blued steel sword hands around a perimeter railway-style minute scale. It includes a 60-second tourbillon at the 6 o'clock position, with a blued steel hand that also acts as a seconds hand. The tourbillon is stopped for precision time setting when the crown is pulled out via a V-shaped arresting spring that stops the balance wheel inside the rotating tourbillon cage (introduced by Lange in 2008). It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve, and the 11.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Tourbillon Enamel Dial 730.079F has a mechanical manually wound A. Lange & Sohne Caliber L102.1 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve striped/ribbed embellishment on the ¾ back plate, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, 426 components, and an anti-shock device. The balance-cock is hand engraved so that each example is unique, and it has polished beveled edges, blued screws, and a swan neck index regulator. It includes a hacking zero reset mechanism for precision time setting, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). This A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Tourbillon Enamel Dial 730.079F was issued in an limited edition of 100 total pieces.
