This is an 18K white gold Ulysse Nardin Sonata Cathedral Dual Time 670-88/213. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold deployment buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coatings. It includes a signed screw down protected winding crown with push buttons on either side of the case adjusting the main time by one-hour increments in both directions. The signed winding crown have rounded crown guards, with the button in the center of the crown at 9 o'clock on the left-side case band controlling the on/off of the alarm; it also bidirectrionally adjusts the time and date. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, engraved with "ULYSSE NARDIN – SONATA – 30 METERS," and a serial number. The 42mm diameter solid round three-body case, curved fluted lugs, and sloping concave bezel with an engraved serial number at 6 o'clock, are polished. It has a blue dial with two partial silver Cotes de Geneve reserves secured with blued screws, and there is a full size time dial with applied faceted arrow hour indices and luminous pips mounted around the blue perimeter rehaut, ovoid skeletonized yellow hour and minute hands with blued luminous arrow tips, and there is a blued center sweep second hand with a yellow needle tip and an oval counterbalance. The upper reserve has twin round raised white subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and blued pointed baton indicator hands, including an alarm indicator at 2 o'clock, and an alarm countdown indicator for the approaching chime at 10 o'clock, which will sound once every 24-hours. An off/on alarm indicator with white luminous letters and a yellow arrow-shaped indicator hand is at 9 o'clock. A third raised white subsidiary dial is at the 6 o'clock position for the GMT dual time zone. An open-worked circle with a blue bridge between 7 and 8 o'clock allows the alarm piston to be viewed when chiming, and there is a small circular day/night indicator at 8 o'clock. A big double window date aperture is at the 4 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ulysse Nardin Sonata Cathedral Dual Time 670-88/213 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ulysse Nardin Caliber UN-67 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 109 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a repeating alarm gong. It has automatic adjustment of the alarm and alarm countdown when a time zone is changed. The hairspring, pallet fork, and escapement wheel are made of Silicon, greatly reducing service requirements and providing higher accuracy. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Ulysse Nardin Sonata Cathedral Dual Time 670-88/213 was introduced in 2003.
