This is an 18K white gold Blancpain Leman Big Date Tourbillon 2825A-1542. It includes an alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold folding deployment buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It includes a screw down signed winding crown and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "LEMAN – SERIE LIMITEE," and an edition number, there are hallmarks under each lug. There is a corrector for the date on the left-side case band, as well as an engraved "BLANCPAIN" signature. The 38mm diameter solid round three-body case, straight lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished. The dial is silver with white gold applied faceted baton hour indices and luminous pip hour indices around a perimeter black minute scale. The large tourbillon aperture for viewing the escapement is at 12 o'clock, and there is an arched 7-day power reserve register with a gold sword indicator hand, marked "7 days." This Blancpain Leman Big Date Tourbillon 2825A-1542 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber 6950 (based on the Blancain caliber 1151) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, blued screws, and a shock absorber system. It has a self-compensating silicon flat balance spring, a straight-line lever escapement, and it's constructed with 35 jewels, 285 components, twin barrels, a rose gold oscillating weight with an engraved "honeycomb" design, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Blancpain Leman Big Date Tourbillon 2825A-1542 was introduced in the 2000's in an extremely limited edition of only 50 examples.
