It has round plunger push button chronograph buttons, a screw-down winding crown, a screw-down polished case back with a serial number, and it's signed on the left-side case band. The solid 38mm diameter three-body case, downturned screwed lugs, and rounded stepped bezel are polished. The dial is two-tone silver with luminous Arabic numeral hour index markers and skeletonized epee hands with luminous tips. There is an outer 1/5 seconds track with luminous dot 5-second markers. A subsidiary dial for the small seconds and a date window are at 6 o'clock, and there is a 12-hour register at 9 o'clock. The 30-minute aperture is at 3 o'clock, and the chronograph has a fly back function. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 40-hour power reserve, and the 12 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Leman Flyback Chronograph 2185F-1142 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber F185 movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes decoration. It's constructed with 37 jewels, 308 components, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It also has a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, as well as a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Blancpain Leman Flyback Chronograph 2185F-1142 was introduced in 2000, and it was produced until 2009.
