The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and knurled-edge flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The black, sloping unidirectional rotating bezel has a 60-minute dive graduation with Arabic numeral markers every fifteen-minute. The dial is orange with pointed luminous baton hands, luminous baton hour indices, and a date aperture window at 3 o'clock. It has an outer track with luminous dot minute/second divisions, and it's water resistant to 1,000 meters (3,300 feet); it has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. It features applied steel Arabic numeral at 6 and 9 o'clock. It includes a centered yellow sweep seconds hand with a yellow luminous arrow tip. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating. The 16.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breitling Super Ocean 36 A17316 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breitling caliber 17 (base ETA 2824-2) It's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring with a micrometer regulator. The mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph.
