This is an 18k yellow gold Cartier Collection Privee Cartier Paris Tank Basculante 2391. It includes an 18k yellow gold case with a patented cabriolet pivoting system, a leather strap with an 18k yellow gold deployment buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The pull-out winding crown is set into the top of the case at 12 o'clock and the notch that flips the case over is set with a sapphire cabochon. The inside of the case has special Cartier embellishment and the exterior case back is engraved with "1999-2000-2001" to celebrate the millennium. The 25mm by 39mm (including the lugs) solid three-body rectangular tonneau case with four side screws, screwed lugs, and flat stepped rectangular bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with a concentric sunray guilloche and black Roman numeral hour markers around a center railway-style minute/hour scale. It has blued Cartier hour and minute hands and the secret signature is in the VII. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 5.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Collection Privee Cartier Paris Tank Basculante 2391 has a mechanical manually wound Cartier caliber 060 MC (based on a Frederic Piguet caliber) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cartier embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a KIF anti-shock system, a monometallic balance, a straight-line lever escapement, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It includes a three-spoke Glucydur balance wheel and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Cartier Collection Privee Cartier Paris Tank Basculante 2391 was introduced in 1999 in a limited edition of only 365 examples world wide. "Basculante" translates as "tilting," referring to the swiveling/folding frame. Cartier made the first Basculante in 1932.
