This is an 18k rose gold Cartier Privée Collection Tortue Monopoussoir chronograph XL W1547451. It includes an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold folding deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a hexagonal screw down winding crown set with a sapphire spinel and there is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 8 screws that's engraved "CARTIER – WATER RESISTANT – 2781 SWISS MADE," hallmarks and a serial number. There are four screws in each side of the case band (two for lugs and two for the case). The 38mm by 48mm (including lugs) diameter barrel-shaped three-body solid case, gently curved lugs, and fluted convex bezel, are polished. The dial is silver guilloche with a sunray pattern with large black Roman numeral hour makers surrounded by a perimeter railway-style minute/second scale. It includes blued Cartier hour and minute hands with ring indicators and there is a blued center sweep second hand with a pip counterbalance. There are twin recessed silver subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and blued indicator hands, including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Privée Collection Tortue Monopoussoir chronograph XL W1547451 has a mechanical manual winding Cartier caliber 045MC movement with an ebauche designed by THA, a company formed by Vianney Halter, F.P. Journe, and Denis Flageollet. The nickel lever movement is rhodium plated with special Cartier embellishment on the bridges. It's constructed with 22 jewels, 157 components, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber device. It includes a clutch system with a swivel pin (providing no second-hand jump), a monometallic balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
