F. P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain "REGENCY" PT 38MM Brass Movement Unique Piece WOW

F.P Journe Tourbillon Souverain Regency with a Brass Movement and an engraved Regency dial, a confirmed UNIQUE PIECE from 2001. According to research this is the only white gold Regency dial ever produced in a 38mm platinum case with a brass tourbillion movement making it undoubtedly one of the most important tourbillions ever made by the F.P Journe manufacture. It is known that 5 Regency dials were set to be made, with the first 3 being cased in 38mm rose gold, followed by this example in platinum. Unfortunately, the engraver passed away shortly thereafter and no further Regency dials were made for 38mm cased watches. In the end, only 4 examples were made in total. 950 platinum case on a strap with a matching 950 platinum buckle, legendary manual wind Brass F.P. Journe caliber 1498 movement, 18k white gold dial is hand engraved and decorated with the the "Regence" motif which pays homage to clockmakers of the 18th century and takes the engraver two full days to produce, guilloche silver subdial for hours and minutes featuring Journe's stylized Arabic numerals, blued hands, 42-hour power reserve with indicator at 12 o'clock, diameter: 38mm, thickness: 8.8mm, serial number: 1XX-01T. Exceptional Condition with original F.P Journe Box and certificate. This is an outstanding piece of F.P. Journe history and a must have for the collector who has seen it all.
