This is a 950 platinum F.P. Journe Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante. It has an integral 950 platinum bracelet with a folding deployment clasp and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has curved rectangular chronograph push buttons, with the pusher at 2 o'clock operating the start, stop, and reset functions, and the pusher bar at 4 o'clock controls the split-seconds. It includes a knurled platinum winding crown, and there is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and it's engraved with "F.P. JOURNE –INVENIT ET FECIT – CHRONOGRAPHE – MONOPOUSSOIR – AU750," hallmarks, and a serial number. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, flat fixed bezel, bracelet, and hooded lugs, are bead-blasted/polished. The bezel is black ceramic with a rhodium Arabic tachymeter scale to 400 UPH. It includes a blue-mauve colored silver guilloche dial, with applied white gold Arabic numeral hour markers, and white gold feuille hands with rhodium coatings. It has a white center sweep chronograph second hand with a ring counter balance that indicates the white railway-style minute/seconds scale with Arabic numerals every five minutes to 60. There is a double big date aperture window at 6 o'clock, and an iconic F.P. Journe "gasket" mounting holds twin raised white subsidiary dials with black railway-style markers, Arabic numerals, and blued indicator hands with ring counter-balances, including a running small constant seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer dial is at the 3 o'clock position. It has an 80-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 50 meters/167 feet, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This F.P. Journe Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante has a mechanical manual winding FPJ caliber 1518 chronograph movement. This is the red gold version with a red gold movement, including solid red gold bridges and a main plate with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 29 jewels, 285 components, an anti-shock device, and an in-line lever escapement fitted with a free-sprung balance. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
