This is a platinum F.P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Dual Time Black Label. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum deployant buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It includes a pull out winding crown with "rope" knurled grip at the 4 o'clock position, and another at 12 o'clock that winds both time zone's movement. The 4 o'clock crown resets both seconds hands to zero. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and it's engraved with "FP JOURNE – RESONANCE – INV. FECIT – PT 950," hallmarks, and an edition number. The 40mm diameter solid round three-body case, curved lugs, and convex bezel, are polished. It has a black dial with twin recessed guilloche silver subsidiary dials secured with silver gaskets, black Arabic numerals, railway-style scale rings, and blued steel indicator hands. There's a combined arched power reserve at 12 o'clock with a silver indicator hand. The dials both have perimeter 60-minute scales and inner hour scales, with smaller constant running small seconds dials at the 6 o'clock positions. It's water resistant, has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 8.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This F.P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Dual Time Black Label has a mechanical manual winding F.P. Journe caliber 1499.2 CAR movement. It's rose gold with two escapements that influence and stabilize each other allowing for the two independent time zones. When the two balances are operating, they enter into sympathy due to the effect of the resonance against each other. It's constructed with circular graining on the base-plate, and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It includes polished and beveled screw heads with chamfered slots, polished pegs, 36 jewels, 299 components, and a shock absorber system. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The F.P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Dual Time Black Label was available exclusively to existing F.P. Journe owners and was sold only out of their boutiques.
