This is a .950 platinum F.P. Journe Dual Time Chronometre Resonance. It includes an alligator leather strap with a .950 platinum tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has twin low-profile pull-out crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock with "cordes de Marseille" grip bands; the crown at 2 winds and sets the time and the lower crown simultaneously resets the two second hands. It has an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws and it's engraved with "F.P. JOURNE – INV.FECIT – PT 950 – RESONANCE." The 40mm diameter solid 3-body round case, curved lugs, and convex bezel, are polished. It has a white gold dial with connected and completely independent silver guilloche time zone dials with blued delta hour and minute hands, black Arabic numerals, and twin second hands with blued "observatoire" indicator hands, all set in a surrounding white gold screwed "gasket" frame with an open-worked center with a large center jewel. The left side dial has a 24-hour display and the right side has 12-hour home time, both with perimeter 60-minute scales. There is an arched power reserve indicator with a blued hand at 12 o'clock. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This F.P. Journe Dual Time Chronometre Resonance has a mechanical manual winding F.P. Journe caliber 1520 movement. It's rose gold with Geneva wave embellishment, partial circular graining on the baseplate, and the unique concept has two independent linear escapements that resonate with each other, with a single barrel spring.2 independent monometallic balances with 4 inertia weights, and 2 flat micro-flamed Anachron balance springs. It includes 2 mobile stud carriers and it's constructed with 62 jewels, 378 components, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The new F.P. Journe Dual Time Chronometre Resonance was introduced in 2020, released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Resonance model. The resonance is a refined modern version of the early works by watchmaking giants such as Breguet, Huygens, and Janvier, and is considered the best methodology for smoothing the power supply.
