It has a signed screw down winding crown at 4 o'clock and a solid screw down case back engraved with "MADE IN JAPAN – H2 GAS DIVER'S – 600M – TITANIUM," hallmarks and a serial number, and there is a center medallion with "GRAND SEIKO," and the lion emblem in high relief. The 46.9mm diameter barrel-shaped two-body solid case, gently curved lugs, bracelet, and knurled unidirectional flat ceramic bezel with silver Arabic elapsed time numerals every ten-minutes with a dive triangle at the 60-minuite position with a luminous pip, are Zaratsu-polished. The dial is black with grand tapisserie waffle texture made of iron with applied luminous circular, rectangular, and triangular hour makers set in yellow gold chatons. It includes titanium hands with a cathedral-style hour hand with a needle tip and luminous inserts and the miniute hand has a broad arrow indicator with luminous fill and a needle tip. It has a gold center sweep second hand and a black perimeter rehaut with gold-toned tiny square hour indices and minute scale. It has a 55-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 600 meters/2000 feet, and the 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Grand Seiko Sport Collection High Beat 36000 Professional 600m Diver's Titanium SBGH255 has a mechanical automatic Grand Seiko Hi-Beat caliber 9S85 movement produced in the Shizukuishi watch studio in the Iwate Prefecture. It's made from Seiko's SPRON530 alloy with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, a shock absorber system, and an oxidized titanium and tungsten rotor. It includes a high precision MEMS escape wheel and pallet, a stop-seconds function for precision time setting, an anti-magnetic SPRON610 balance wheel (anti-magnetic to 4,800 A/m), and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 36,000 vph (5Hz).
