This is a stainless-steel Grand Seiko SBGR261. It has an alligator leather strap with a folding stainless-steel deployment buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coatings. It includes a signed pull out winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 6 screws and engraved with "WATER RESISTANT – STAINLESS STEEL – MADE IN JAPAN," the Grand Seiko Lion emblem, and a serial number. The 39.5mm diameter round solid two-body case, curved drilled Zaratsu polished lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished. The dial is ivory colored steel with applied faceted baton index hour markers with luminous inserts around a black perimeter minute/second scale. It has steel dauphine sword hands with luminous inserts and a blued center sweep second hand. There is a steel-framed date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, it has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The Grand Seiko SBGR261 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Grand Seiko caliber 9S65 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it's constructed with 35 jewels, a stop seconds feature for precision time setting, a shock absorber system, and MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology utilizing semi-conductor functions to enhance the basic performance of the oscillating weight and the mainspring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Grand Seiko SBGR261 was released in 2018.
