This is a stainless-steel Grand Seiko 20th Anniversary of the Spring Drive SBGY003. It includes an alligator leather strap with a stainless-steel folding deployment buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has a signed pull out winding crown and a screwed down exhibition sapphire display crystal case back engraved with "WATER RESISTANT – LIMITED EDITION – STAINLESS STEEL – MADE IN JAPAN – 9R31-OABO," and a serial number. There is a blue circular power reserve dial on the brushed movement with a blue indicator hand. The 38.5mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, bracelet, and flat angled bezel, are Zaratsu polished/brushed. The dial is silver sunburst guilloche with applied faceted steel dart hour markers with luminous inserts, polished steel Dauphine sword hands, and a blued steel center sweep second hand with a wedge-shaped counterbalance. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 9.8 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Grand Seiko SBGY003 has a mechanical manual winding Grand Seiko caliber 9R31A movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 30 jewels, a dual mainspring, the Spring Drive System, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to six positions and temperature. It includes a flat balance-spring, an index regulator, a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Grand Seiko 20th Anniversary of the Spring Drive SBGY003 was produced in a limited edition of 700 examples in 2019 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Grand Seiko Spring Drive mechanisms.
