This is a stainless steel IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371401. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel double deployment clasp, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and round chronograph push buttons. There is a solid case back secured with 4 screws, and it's engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO.," and a serial number. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and overhanging convex bezel, are polished/brushed. It has gold feuille hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand. The dial is silver with applied rose gold Arabic hour numerals, outer gold dot minute divisions, and gold feuille hands. Around the perimeter is a quarter-seconds scale with 5-minute/seconds sectors. There are two recessed silver subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and gold indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371401 has a mechanical automatic caliber 79240 (Based on the ETA/Valjoux 7750) movement that's rhodium plated with oeil-de-perdrix and cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a straight-line lever escapement.
