This is a Ceratanium (an IWC Titanium alloy) IWC Mark XVIII Edition "Hodinkee" IW324801. It has an embossed calfskin strap with a Ceratanium tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw down winding crown and a screw down solid case back engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO. – PILOT'S WATCH – HODINKEE – 6 BAR," an edition and a serial number. The 39mm diameter solid 2-body case, slightly curved lugs, and stepped angled bezel, are satin Ceratanium. It has a black dial with white luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, vintage luminous baton and stick indices, and a luminous aeronautic triangle at 12 o'clock. It includes a white luminous minute/second scale around the perimeter, and it has pointed steel baton hands with vintage luminous inserts, and there is a white luminous center sweep second hand. It's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 11mm thick case, dial and movement are all signed. This IWC Mark XVIII IW324801 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 35100 (based on a Sellita caliber SW300-1) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and perlage. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, an anti-shock device, and an anti-magnetic monometallic balance. There is a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This IWC Mark XVIII IW324801 was introduced in 2019 in a limited edition of 500 examples, produced in partnership with Hodinkee.
