This is a stainless-steel IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII IW327012. It includes a black Santoni calfskin strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating secured against displacement by drops in air pressure. It has a signed screw down winding crown and a solid screw down case back engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO. – PILOT'S WATCH – 6 BAR," a high-relief depiction of the German JU-52 bomber and a serial number. The 40mm diameter barrel-shaped two-body solid case, gently curved lugs, and stepped flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver plated with large black Arabic numeral hour markers surrounded by a black perimeter second/minute scale with a luminous aviation triangle at the 12 o'clock position. It has white luminous "Spitfire" IWC hour and minute hands, and there is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 60 meters/200ft, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII IW327012 has a mechanical manual winding IWC caliber 35111 (base Sellita SW300-1) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage embellishment and it has a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a single spring barrel, a ball-bearing mounted rotor, a monometallic Glucydur balance, an Incabloc shock absorber device, a flat Nivaflex hairspring, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting.
