This is a stainless-steel IWC Flieger Pilot Chronograph W377726. It includes an alligator leather strap and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal secured against displacement by drops in air pressure. It has round chronograph pushbuttons and a screw-down signed winding crown. There is a solid screw-down case back engraved with "IWC – PILOT'S WATCH - 6 BAR," and a serial number. The 43mm diameter solid three-body case, stepped angled bezel, and curved lugs, are polished/brushed. The dial is green with illuminated white Arabic numeral and baton hour markers, surrounded by a perimeter luminescent minute/seconds track. It includes white luminous steel "Spitfire" propeller-shaped hands, a center sweep second hand, and a large luminous flight triangle at 12 o'clock. There is a twin rectangular day and date aperture window at the 3 o’clock position, and it includes three green subsidiary dials reminiscent of the altimeter in the cockpits of early planes, including a small constant running seconds dial with a red hand at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour register at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock. It has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, it's water resistant to 60 meters/180 feet, and the 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Flieger Pilot Chronograph IW377726 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 79320 (based on the ETA caliber 7750) movement that's surrounded by a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields. It's rhodium plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring and a small hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The IWC Flieger Pilot Chronograph IW377726 was introduced in 2019 in a limited edition of 1,000 examples.
