This is a stainless-steel IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371616. It includes an alligator leather strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals (domed over the dial) with anti-reflective coatings. It has a screw down signed winding crown, "mushroom" style chronograph push buttons, and there is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 4 screws and it's engraved with "INTL. WATCH CO. – IWC PORTUGIESER – CHRONOGRAPH – 3 BAR," and a serial number. The 41mm diameter solid two-body round case, curved lugs, and thin flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is burgundy red sunburst with applied polished steel Arabic numeral hour markers and rhodium plated pip hour indices around a smaller pip minute/second scale. It has a burgundy red perimeter rehaut with a white 1/5 second/minute scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. It includes polished rhodium plated feuille leaf hour and minute hands and a center sweep second hand. There are twin burgundy red recessed subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals, markers, and polished dagger indicator hands including a small constant running seconds register at 6 o'clock and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at the 12 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371616 has a new in-house mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 69355 (based on the IWC caliber 69370) column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage embellishment and it's constructed with 27 jewels, an anti-shock system, 194 components, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It includes a small hacking seconds function for precision time setting, a bidirectional pawl-winding system, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371616 was introduced in 2020.
